New York City - concrete, brick, and tile

Image
The lower part of a run down building - nice tile work!  Looking up to check the time. It was a beautiful day to be outside. Along the High Line walk. The blue in the center is all reflective glass and the patches surrounding it are all part of the art wall piece.  The River Tide art piece.

Streets of New York

I've done the tourist stuff. I've eaten and will be seeing plays. Today was about exploring new areas and corners. This is what you see when you look away from the sky and at the walls around you.  Off the High Line walk    Balcony social statement  Family portrait?

New York City! View from the Room

Arrived late last night, slept in and will soon be playing tourist! Have tickets to Mr. Burns tonight, and Kinky Boots tomorrow night. No idea what I'm doing today as I let Mondo do the planning. My view? Really? I didn't even notice last night I was so tired.

A Star Trek fan.  Trek In The Park is a live recreation of a classic Trek episode. This year's presentation was Tribbles! In Portland, Oregon - hence the road (or in this case, flight) trip with fellow fans. Sorry for the low resolution, I didn't bring a camera and was using the iPad. On the Enterprise, communicated with Space Station K-7 about the Quadrotriticale. Klingons! On the Space Station! Let the insults begin! BTW - the fight scene was fun. They stopped fighting every few seconds so the focus could go to Cyrano Jones drinking for free.  Kirk is buried under the Tribbles. Spock looks on. This was a fun moment. The audience of 1000+ really enjoyed it together! The five year mission is coming to a close. The actors thank the audience for their support. It's all o
