Singapore - May 2018

If it wasn't so hot, Singapore would be one of the best places to live. The standard of living, health care, retirement, and general politeness is one of the best anywhere. There's always something going on and new places to visit. In a small country the only place to grow is up and that is what Singapore has done. Along the water's edge there is a great area for walking (or jogging in early morning hours) and photo ops.  A yarn and string exhibit was going up but I missed opening weekend so only got to see the arch.  Area of the youth Olympic park.  This scuplture was only about 12 inches tall. This morning's treat was to listen to people practicing their jazz to Chinese music. This guy was pretty good, others were beginners. And all the umbrellas were for parents doing matchmaking for their children. Now that's a different approach!

It's at least another two months of wearing the retainer most of the time but with room to relax. For example, I have an upcoming Asia trip and I have no plans to wear the retainer on the entire flight. This may add a 3rd month to the additional 2 months but that's okay as long as I'm consistent. And the retainers are starting to fit better so there must be something to this. Other than the fact that the dentist said the teeth are fine and that is exactly what is happening. At long last I can eat leafy greens again without public fear of kale in my teeth. Just like Yertle here, I'm chowing down on salads again because I can.
