Remembrance Day - Canada

Remembrance Day in Canada has a great tradition that is maintained and honored by the majority of Canadians. This is the wearing of the red poppy as a visual reminder of those gave their lives in war and military operations.
It's a nice tradition and one I was happy to take part in. Cheers from Grande Prairie!

  1. I remember wearing those when I was a little girl, here in the US. My mom would make a donation to a veteran, either at the front door or out in front of De Falco's grocery store, and they'd give us one for her and one for me. I remember finding old ones in my keepsake box years later. Cool that Canada still does this!
