Auckland Ferry Terminal

If you want a quick ride to another part of the greater Auckland area, the ferry terminal is there to take you by sea. I did this a few years ago and it's a short ride to the other port and from there you can bus around. Today though it was more to get some exercise before the rain and to see something besides city buildings.
If that Hilton wasn't so expensive and out of the general way, I'd stay there. What a great view some of those rooms have!
Local fisherman. Very much not amused with tourists taking pictures. I hope they have a good catch. It was cold and windy and not a good day to be fishing off the dock.

First the backstory. In about a week I'll be boarding a cruise ship (this year's Cruise Trek) in Romania. When I booked the flight many months ago, I had a brilliant idea to go in a week early to Vienna and use it as a base to spend a few nights each in Albania and Bosnia. Fast forward to 6 weeks ago and the Covid restrictions, flight schedules, and hotel prices made me give up.
