The family reunion was an all day event. To prepare for the day ahead we stopped at a diner in the canyon for a big breakfast. This is Ruth's Diner which has been in operation since the 30's and has big country breakfasts. Brad and Lorie pose pre-meal. No after shots were taken of the food destruction that we created a short time later. The highlight activity of the picnic was the pinata break and these kids lined up to bat down the pinatas (3 in all) to get the candy and toys inside. We lucked out and had a perfect day outside, with the canyon still covered in green and some snow on the mountains.
