A first - I actually forgot to check email until 4:30 pm today! I was so wrapped up in making sure I hit the stairs at the beach for a workout, going to Henry's for water, and then working on the paper that nothing else went through my mind. The final countdown begins!
On the Marriott Islamabad, all I can say is that when a terrorist wants to destroy something, it will happen. Yes, that would have been my hotel of choice had for some bizarre reason I would have wanted to go there but all the people in LA on the Metrolink thought they were in for a boring train ride that day.
