Iceland Shoutout

With the volcano ash, Iceland is all the news on the radio. But besides the volcano, the financial crisis and the not easy to get to factor, Iceland has some great buzz on the web. My favorite is the Twitter feed (thisisiceland) where we have first person tweets from the island. The person that came up with that campaign should win an award! Of course I want to go to Iceland and now but that trip will have to wait.

First the backstory. In about a week I'll be boarding a cruise ship (this year's Cruise Trek) in Romania. When I booked the flight many months ago, I had a brilliant idea to go in a week early to Vienna and use it as a base to spend a few nights each in Albania and Bosnia. Fast forward to 6 weeks ago and the Covid restrictions, flight schedules, and hotel prices made me give up.
