Maya Riviera area of Playa Del Carmen.  I'm in the jungle and have to take the hotel shuttle bus to get to the rich side of the resort. My room (with lizard) $415 a night and that's the poor side.  Here, $500 - 800 (with mosquitoes).  The beer - a dark draft from Leon, Mexico. It was good.

    Looks very nice, but where are all the (rich) people? You are the only one enjoying the view.

First the backstory. In about a week I'll be boarding a cruise ship (this year's Cruise Trek) in Romania. When I booked the flight many months ago, I had a brilliant idea to go in a week early to Vienna and use it as a base to spend a few nights each in Albania and Bosnia.
