Spring Cleaning

Lock down started Friday night and is almost over as of 3:20 pm Sunday afternoon. Every suitcase is unpacked, multiple loads of laundry done and the floors once again clean. I missed Spring cleaning last year and was determined not to lose out this time. Even the closet got a do-over with old, old, stuff discarded and never or gently used stuff take to Goodwill.
The yard lost out though. I was determined to conquer the weeds but Saturday was hot and today is windy and cold and I look for any reason not to deal with weeds. Plus it's about to rain and more will grow anyway so might as well wait until I can do a clean sweep. Like the flowers, I am ready to resurface once again.

First the backstory. In about a week I'll be boarding a cruise ship (this year's Cruise Trek) in Romania. When I booked the flight many months ago, I had a brilliant idea to go in a week early to Vienna and use it as a base to spend a few nights each in Albania and Bosnia. Fast forward to 6 weeks ago and the Covid restrictions, flight schedules, and hotel prices made me give up.
