Got this shot today which was unusual. Normally I'm either over this air space at night, or in an aisle seat, or the sky is cloudy. Today snowscape and tundra in all directions.
This first shot of Lebanon is in Khalde, about 30 minutes outside of Beirut. The view from my hotel window in Beirut. I wasn't willing to try and run through traffic to get the beach shot. And finally, the ocean from Khalde.
Yesterday's tour included a quick stop to run inside the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro and take photos of the stained glass. Glass looks best when it is sunny outside and we had sun in abundance! I need to find a camera setting that works with cathedrals. Stained glass is one of the more difficult things to photograph well.
That is really cool. I've only flow over the Polar route once before and it was at night.
