Invisalign with Yertle - September

Tray 21 of 21 is complete! The hard part is over but the process continues on.  On this dentist all the attachments were sanded down until my teeth were smooth. No more puncture pain for a few weeks.  Tooth #14 never moved. It looks really left behind and a refinement series (and attachments again) are needed to push out wayward #14. I have a more visible overbite than when I started and that needs correcting. All the of the teeth look pretty well aligned up until the front.

After three more sets of the purple oozy impression molds, the dentist was satified that they had good prints. What a relief because sitting there with that in your mouth for 60 seconds feels like 60 minutes! Then a batch of photographs of the interior and exterior of all your teeth. After that, Tray 21 was popped back in and will stay in my mouth day and night for the next 3-4 weeks until both the refinement trays come in and my dentist returns from vacation.

That means 3 weeks where I can eat like normal and not worry about food getting stuck on attachments and not having to rush back asap to floss and brush before popping the tray back in. Still have to do all that but without the attachment complication, it's much easier!

Enjoy Yertle's colorful buffet! Next update in October!
