So far this later afternoon blue sky is the only clear and sunny day of the trip. Rain has been with us off and on for the last couple of days.

Stained Glass - Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro
Yesterday's tour included a quick stop to run inside the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro and take photos of the stained glass. Glass looks best when it is sunny outside and we had sun in abundance! I need to find a camera setting that works with cathedrals. Stained glass is one of the more difficult things to photograph well.
This first shot of Lebanon is in Khalde, about 30 minutes outside of Beirut. The view from my hotel window in Beirut. I wasn't willing to try and run through traffic to get the beach shot. And finally, the ocean from Khalde.

I travel with my laptop and always check Karen's blog to make sure I didn't miss anything during the day. Sometimes pictures show up and I have no idea when she took them.
