7 Days & Counting

One week from tomorrow I'll be on a plane to NY and embarking on this year's cruise to Bermuda! Too bad there's so much work to do between now and then. I've over scheduled myself and now have to figure out when I will pack, when I can get to the store to buy sanitizer and back-up vitamins, and then manage to line-up the next two trips without screwing something up.

Well it always seems to get done so I won't think or even plan. All I really need to do is remember a passport, credit card, and some cash.

One more day of work this week. Keeping my fingers crossed that nothing happens with crazy talk about closing borders!

First the backstory. In about a week I'll be boarding a cruise ship (this year's Cruise Trek) in Romania. When I booked the flight many months ago, I had a brilliant idea to go in a week early to Vienna and use it as a base to spend a few nights each in Albania and Bosnia. Fast forward to 6 weeks ago and the Covid restrictions, flight schedules, and hotel prices made me give up. Changing the flight to Vienna would result in penalties and possibly fare increases so I made the best of it and thought, where can I go in Austria where I've never been? Innsbruck, hmm.
