Subpoena!

If anyone remembers back in February, I put in a 911 call on the freeway for a truck that crashed into the center divide. Four months later, this was put on my front door this morning. My first ever (and hopefully last) subpoena! I always wondered what happened to that truck and driver and it looks like I'll get a chance to find out! I'm scheduled to show up in court on June 23, pending the case going all the way to trial.

    I'm surprised it didn't come as registered mail. There's no proof that you received it. Well, it will be a different experience if you have to testify in court, but yes, most cases never make it that far.

First the backstory. In about a week I'll be boarding a cruise ship (this year's Cruise Trek) in Romania. When I booked the flight many months ago, I had a brilliant idea to go in a week early to Vienna and use it as a base to spend a few nights each in Albania and Bosnia.
