One of the changes since I've been in KL is the KL Tower. Going up in towers is always a good way to waste time and see a city so I decided to go for it. The tower was a short walking distance from the hotel and I decided to go before the mid-day heat was too intense. Upon arrival, it was all nice blue sky. As I got to the top of the tower the clouds were starting to build up but I could still see the city below.
These are Malaysia's twin towers and the new symbol of Kuala Lumpur.
Two hours later the dark rainclouds had moved in and the heat was unbearable. It was time to return to the hotel and the a/c. I wasn't back for more than 10 minutes when the afternoon storm hit. The rain's been pouring for 2 hours now with no sign of stopping. The thunder is going as well but I haven't seen the lightning yet. I'm glad I got out early!
