Santa Barbara Beach

This week's hotel was right by the beach in Santa Barbara and I couldn't have asked for better weather to miss while being cooped up in meetings. At least the sun is out later and I was able to enjoy a short walk along the ocean.
 
I get seasick but if I ever wanted to be on a boat, it was today. These people looked to be fully enjoying the sail.
Opposite the beach the walking/biking trail leads through a bird sanctuary. I heard many birds but none appeared to want their photo taken.

First the backstory. In about a week I'll be boarding a cruise ship (this year's Cruise Trek) in Romania. When I booked the flight many months ago, I had a brilliant idea to go in a week early to Vienna and use it as a base to spend a few nights each in Albania and Bosnia. Fast forward to 6 weeks ago and the Covid restrictions, flight schedules, and hotel prices made me give up.
