The hotel life on the road....Not all was lost though. My hotel serves a local microbrew Schlafly that makes a tasty Pale Ale. Who knew that such a thing was possible in the land of Busch beer?

Stained Glass - Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro
Yesterday's tour included a quick stop to run inside the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro and take photos of the stained glass. Glass looks best when it is sunny outside and we had sun in abundance! I need to find a camera setting that works with cathedrals. Stained glass is one of the more difficult things to photograph well.
