After a fun weekend, it was back to the usual non-fun hotel life. Long days, nothing to do besides work at night makes for an empty blog. So sad. I have calculated that by May I will be at the halfway points for both United & Marriott for status renewal (Yea!) so this is working out for 2010. I think stuff may have happened in the world while I was in a bubble but my priority tonight was to destress by watching Rock of Love Bus. It is the best.

    Ah, that show with Bret Michaels. I still haven't seen it, but I don't watch VH1 much since it is not on my HD channels.

First the backstory. In about a week I'll be boarding a cruise ship (this year's Cruise Trek) in Romania. When I booked the flight many months ago, I had a brilliant idea to go in a week early to Vienna and use it as a base to spend a few nights each in Albania and Bosnia. Fast forward to 6 weeks ago and the Covid restrictions, flight schedules, and hotel prices made me give up. Changing the flight to Vienna would result in penalties and possibly fare increases so I made the best of it and thought, where can I go in Austria where I've never been? Innsbruck, hmm.
