Due to an intense work week, I've actually run out of words. I've saved this picture of a friend's ferret for a slow blog day and this seems to be it. This is Bandit and he lives in St. Louis. Not sure of his personality but all the ferrets I've met are friendly and curious so I'm willing to believe that Bandit is the same!

Stained Glass - Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro
Yesterday's tour included a quick stop to run inside the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro and take photos of the stained glass. Glass looks best when it is sunny outside and we had sun in abundance! I need to find a camera setting that works with cathedrals. Stained glass is one of the more difficult things to photograph well.
Awwww... too cute! Sadly, they're illegal here in California, although I once knew a girl who had moved here from back East and smuggled her pet ferret over with her. She lived in fear of the authorities...

Wow, had did it get to be Aug. 6th? Happy birthday, Brad.
ReplyDeleteBandit reminds me of our little ferret although right right now I can't remember his name. Bandit looks much younger and the big question is how did they get him to stop moving long enough to take a picture?

And your ferret's name was Buckwheat was it not? No wonder he was my buddy!
ReplyDeleteYes, Buckwheat is correct. I don't know why that escaped me. He did like you!
