Saturday night found me at Dodger stadium for game 2 of the freeway series with the Angels. First up was a walk around the stadium to check on things and then it was time for a beer. We had stadium club tickets so we took the back way in and to our pleasant surprise - we crossed paths with Tommy Lasorda! He was just leaving the press room as we were walking by. Right there we were totally happy and the game hadn't even started yet.

We went into the club where there's a decent beer selection at better prices than the outside. We hung out and watched the first two innings there and then went out to find our seats. After all, we had field level near first base so we might as well see the game for real. The Dodgers were up 4-0 so we decided to share a bag of peanuts. Those peanuts were doomed from the beginning! Our buyer couldn't catch the bag so it went flying, then once we opened it up and had a few, another person sent them flying to the seats below us and there we were, eating peanuts off the ground!

At this point we decided to pay attention to the game and watched Steve Finley drive in a run and the Angels were on the scoreboard. A few seconds later we were distracted as James Denton, the hunky guy on Desperate Housewives, walk right by us. Wow! All the women stopped watching the game at that point. It was a double star night for us!

Back to the game, we stayed until the very end and watched the Angels win 6-4. It was a good way to start the baseball season!
