It's a hard thing to be a SD Padres fan. Each year you get your hopes up and each October they are dashed back into the ground. Living in Carlsbad I get both SD and LA news stations and right now each sports segment is all about Anaheim and LA making history by being in the playoffs at the same time. I can't even watch it's so sad. I'll sort of cheer for the Angels since they are AL and of course I'll boo the dreaded Dodgers!
In about 30 minutes SpaceShipOne will return from it's 3rd space flight so that might cheer me up!
And by now we all know thata SpaceShipOne was successful and set a new height record of 360,000 ft and won the X-Prize. Another safe flight and landing.
