I really do enjoy the Kuwait Times. Even though it is the most radical over the top paper bordering on tabloid, it always produces newsworthy gems like this.

Chocolate ends hunger strike

KUWAIT: A box of chocolates brought one prisoner's hunger strike to abrupt end. The hunger strike started when a police officer was not summoned to testify in a case about another officer stealing the prisoner's personal belongings. The prison director found out that the man's favourite food was chocolate, so he sent the prisoner a box of premium chocolates. Shortly thereafter the prisoner ended his three-day hunger strike.
